However, whereas Galileo’s sire was by Sadler’s Wells, Sea The Stars is by Cape Cross. Cape Cross’s best offspring are usually most effective at a mile to ten furlongs, though Ouija Board bucked the trend. Sea The Stars won two of his three races in his juvenile season. His best performance came at the Curragh in the Beresford Stakes where he battled on well to beat Mourayan and Masterofthehorse. Mourayan ran well against Fame And Glory on his return to action this year and the form looks solid. Reported to have improved physically over the winter, he is a laid-back horse with a good temperament. He looks a top-class prospect and we should learn more about his stamina when he reappears.
