Serious Attitude (Mtoto — Zameyla, by Cape Cross): Given she is a daughter of Mtoto, Serious Attitude had a remarkably successful first season. Three times she visited the racetrack and she went into winter quarters unbeaten.

Her dam was a mid-eighties rated performer, who won twice over a mile. Her sire Mtoto is best known for late developing middle-distance horses. Perhaps his best known performer was 1996 Derby hero Shaamit.

She has 7lb to find with Rainbow View

Serious Attitude progressed from winning a Windsor maiden, to a Listed success at Salisbury, before landing the Group One Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket in October. The second home finished in the same position in the Rockfel a fortnight later, while the fifth home Heart Shaped finished second to Maoineach on her reappearance this season.

On official ratings she has 7lb to find on Rainbow View, which looks at this stage, a tall order. Reported to have done well over winter, she will stay the mile of the 1000 Guineas and get ten-furlongs in time.
