Cockney ready for his trip

Filed on 22 May 2007 @ 08:29

COCKNEY REBEL has come through his preparation for Saturdays Irish 2000gns in great style and in the words of his trainer who spoke to me this morning ' he's come on since Newmarket and should win'

Indeed I have never heard Geoff in more confident mood.

'This horse is seriously decent' quipped his handler as he sipped a coffee at breakfast today. Indeed the colt looks an absolute picture of health and is a testimony to all the people involved

The party on Sunday evening at The Bedford Lodge rewarded all the staff for their efforts and maybe the next one will follow shortly after Saturday.

I hope that you were on POLAR CIRCLE last Friday at Newbury following our excellent York meeting.

This week we have our local meeting at Newmarket and on Friday Henry Cecil should be on the mark with TRANQUIL TIGER. Following excellent work at home I would make him nap material to win his maiden.

We must stick with COCKNEY REBEL in Ireland who owes us nothing following our ante post 33/1 touch last time.
