Get out your posh outfits, and away we go - with the biggest meeting of the year.

Day 1

Not really a betting day for me although I still prefer COCKNEY REBEL in The St James Palace Stakes. The horse is still in great form and has that vital impressive turn of foot that seems to come off any pace.

Day 2

I should have an each way bet on Chapple Hyams TARIQ in The Jersey Stakes. He is not an imposing colt but is speedy and vitally improving at the right time. His last bit of work impressed onlookers and he should reach the frame at least.

Day 3

Should the Gr 1 rated Cesare run his race earlier in the week then his recent galloping could highlight the chances of ARTIMINO in The Brittania Handicap. ARTIMINO has been in great from of recent and connections will be dissapointed if this horse does not go very close. He will be heavily backed in the early exchanges.

Day 4

Jeremy Noseda has RAHIYAH in top form for The Coronation Stakes. She has already been backed for this Group 1 event and has impressed since the French Guineas. She looks to be a cracking each way bet at around 8/1.

Day 5

The Wokingham Handicap is the target for Fanshawes ZIDANE who is going well in home gallops. There will be plenty of interest in the betting markets on this one.

Good luck, Drink well and eat well, enjoy the surroundings and hopefully get a few quid to pay the expenses!
