The William Haggas-trained Muthmir, winner of the Portland Handicap last September, was fifth in the Duke of York Stakes in May before scoring a breakthrough maiden group win in the Group Two Prix du Gros Chene. HE has since been third in the King's Stand and ninth in the July Cup before flying home on the rail on this drop back to 5f. Bred by the Tsui family's Sunderland Holdings, he sold for 130,000 gns as a yearling and is a half brother to My Titania, who became Sea The Stars' first Group winner when landing the Group Three CL Weld Park Stakes in 2013. Their dam, Listed winner Fairy Of The Night, is a half sister to Gulfstream Grade Three winner Dress Rehearsal out of a winning half sister to Doncaster Cup winner Far Cry. The third dam is an unraced half sister to Group Three winner Daralinsha, ancestress of Classic winner Darsi and Darjina.

The winner of the Group Three Prestige Stakes last season, Malabar ran well in Group One company since, finishing fourth three times before appreciating a drop in class and a sounder surface here. A 70,000 gns Tattersalls yearling purchase, she is a half sister to three winners out of the Listed-placed Nashwaan mare Whirly Bird, a half sister to Group Three winner Ursa Major and Listed winner Inchiri, out of a winning half sister to Inchinor and to the dam of Venus De Milo.

A Group Three success for the Qatari raider Dubday, who was Group Three placed in Germany in 2013, has won at Listed level in Qatar and has been second in Listed company on his last two starts in Britain. An 11,000 gns purchase as a horse in training at the age of two, he sold for €200,000 at the Arc Sale a year later after his successful three year old career. He is a half brother to a winner out of a winning Daylami half sister to Listed winner Rambling Rose, the dam of Notnowcato.

A winning group debut, and the third win in six starts for Simple Verse, who was the only three year old in the race. A €240,000 Goffs Orby yearling, she is a half sister to two winners, including the Group Two-placed juvenile Maxentius, out of an unraced Sadler's Wells mare. She is a half sister to six winners, one of them Listed-placed, out of the Lisyed-placed Darshaan mare Bluffing. She is a half sister to the Listed winner, and Sun Chariot second, Feminine Wiles.
This is the second group winner of the afternoon for Duke Of Marmalade, whose three year old crop has yielded four stakes winners, all of them group winners and three of them Classic winners, at a 5% strike rate.

The winner of the Listed Chester Stakes and Noel Murless Stakes last season, Big Orange took a step forward to win the Group Two Princess of Wales's Stakes last time, before doubling up at Group Two level here. He is a half brother to a winner out of a winning half sister to Hong Kong star Military Attack, dual Group Three winner Almaty and the dam of Red Cadeaux. The third dam is Al Bahathri, the dam of Haffhd and Munir.
A fine run of form continues for Duke Of Marmalade, who is now based in South Africa. Having had three Classic winners earlier this season in Sound Of Freedom, Star Of Seville and Nutan, four year old Big Orange is one of three group winners from his second crop.

Eighth of eight on debut at Newbury and described as a work in progress by his trainer, Shalaa got his act together to win a Newbury maiden a fortnight later, and stretched clear to outclass his rivals in the July Stakes last time. A 100,000 gns Tattersalls foal, he fetched 170,000 gns as a yearling and is a half brother to two winners out of the Grade Three-placed Ghurra, a 90,000 gns broodmare purchase from Shadwell in 2005 who sold again three years later, this time for 320,000 gns. The second dam, Futuh, produced nine winners in all, including Group One Middle Park winner Hayil and five other stakes performers.
This is the sole juvenile stakes winner so far this season for Invincible Spirit, who has 10 two year old winners at a 42% strike rate. His 2013 crop was covered at a fee of €60,000 and averaged £180,000 as yearlings, with a high price of £875,000 coming at Arqana.

She in turn is a half sister to the Listed-placed Tiana, out of a half sister to Group One Middle Park winner Stalker.
This is the third stakes winner of the season for Kyllachy, who is seventh on the table of leading sires of sprinters.

He is the first foal out of the Group-placed Highest Honor mare High Maintenance, herself a half sister to Listed winner Hostessante, out of Group Two Prix de Royallieu winner Fabulous Hostess.

The dam, the Group One-placed Danehill mare Hveger, is an own sister to multiple Group One winner Elvestoem and half sister to multiple Group One winner Haradasun. Since then, her half brother Goldream has won the Group Three Palace House Stakes and the Group One King's Stand. The second dam is an unraced half sister to multiple Listed winner Mont Rocher, out of an unraced half sister to Montjeu.
This is the sixth stakes winner in all for Paco Boy, and the first from his second crop. The Highclere Stud resident moves to fifth on the Makfi-led second crop sires table.

This is the fourth juvenile stakes winner of the season for Dark Angel, a 9% strike rate from his 2013 crop that matches the strike rate achieved by his first crop. His current juveniles were covered at a fee of €12,500 on the son of Acclamation's march to his current fee of €27,500.

She in turn is a half sister to Moyglare second Hotelgeniedotcom, the dam of Group One Fillies' Mile and Falmouth winner Simply Perfect as well as Crackling, the dam of Listed winner Ronaldsay and granddam of Jersey winner Gale Force Ten.
This is the fifth Group One winner of the European campaign for Dubawi, placing him three quarters of a million pounds clear of Galileo - who has only one Group One winner so far, in Gleneagles - on the general sires table.
