The second session of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale in Sydney on Wednesday saw another session of competitive bidding with the overall clearance of 81% the best at the end of Day Two in over five years.

Positive start to yearling sale as clearance rate hits 74%

The 2014 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale got underway on Tuesday with a positive day's trade that saw 124 lots sold for an aggregate of $34,815,000 at an average of $280,766, which compares well with the average of $282,705 in the first session last year, which was boosted with the $5m sale of a half brother to Black Caviar.
