Valiant Stakes L - Euro Charline

Twice a winner at Wolverhampton on her first two starts, Euro Charline was second in the Nell Gwyn and ran fifth in the 1000 Guineas and third in the Coronation Stakes. Sold for just 800 gns as a short yearling at the Tattersalls February Sale in 2012, she fetched 13,000 gns back at Park Paddocks that October. She is the first winner out of a winning half sister to winners, one of them Listed-placed in Belgium, from the family of dual Lockinge winner Soviet Line.

Euro Charline is the leading earner for Myboycharlie and becomes his second stakes winner. The Haras du Mezeray resident has 16 winners from 48 runners so far, for an AEI of 1.4. He is in 11th spot on the second crop sires table.

This is the second stakes winner for Rip Van Winkle, the other also being a Group Three winner in I Am Beautiful. The Coolmore resident has six winners from 20 runners so far and moves to fifth on the first crop sires table.
