His grandam was a Grade 2 winner and Grade 1 placed in the States, while his third dam, Chain Store, is the dam of the great racemare Al Bahathri and therefore ancestress of 2000 Guineas and Champion Stakes victor Haafhd, Munir and Almaty, all standing at stud.
