In a generally subdued European National Hunt market, Arqana's Summer Sale held its own at Saint-Cloud on Thursday, with the aggregate turnover reaching € 3,772,000, a decrease of only 7.4 % on the 2007 figures.

Lot 78, a half-brother to Mid Dancer by the French Derby sire Chichicastenango fetched the session's top price at € 210,000 on a bid from Chantilly trainer Robert Collet.
