Australia, 8 June 2009 A half sister to former top racehorse Make Mine Magic in foal to Lion Heart topped Sunday's non-select session of the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale at the Gold Coast. Snapped up by Magic Millions acting as agent for a Queensland based client, Zero Up attracted spirited bidding when presented by the team from Jonel Park Thoroughbreds. A daughter of Danzero, Zero Up is a half sister to Make Mine Magic - an outstanding Queensland galloper who won 14 races and earned over $942,000. A winner from 1000 to 2200 metres, Make Mine Magic won no fewer than seven black type races including a Grand Prix and Sir Byrne Hart Stakes. The session saw 148 lots change hands at a clearance rate of 80 per cent and average price of $3,284. The complex had a good range of buyers on hand - including clients from the Phillipines, Korea, New Zealand and Singapore.
