She improved after that to win the Group Three Blue Wind Stakes and the Irish 1,000 Guineas. Second in the Ribblesdale after that, she was only fifth in the Pretty Polly before being freshened up before confirming her superiority here. Bred by Jim Bolger, she is the first runner out of the winning Thunder Gulch mare Toirneach, a €110,000 Keeneland yearling purchase and a half sister to winners out of a winning half sister to US Listed winner Drina, the dam of dual Grade One winner Spain and two more graded stakes winners.
Pleascach is one of seven stakes winners this season for Teofilo, and one of just two stakes winners from his fourth crop, which was covered at a career low fee of €15,000 (up to €50,000 in 2015). The Darley sire already has two stakes winners from his current crop of juveniles, from just 14 runners.

Besharah is one of three juvenile stakes winners this season for Kodiac, who is second to Dark Angel on the table of leading sires of juveniles. The Tally-Ho sire is also excelling with his older horses, with Adaay and Coulsty finishing first and second in the Hungerford Stakes at the weekend.

The third dam is a Listed-placed half sister to Group Two Prix de Pomone winner Whitehaven, out of triple Grade One winner (including the Kentucky Oaks) White Star Line.
This is the fifth stakes winner of the season for Lope De Vega, and the eighth from his first crop, a 10% strike rate. His six yearlings sold so far have averaged £111,000 and he is a close second to Siyouni on the second crop sires table.
