The Hughie Morrison-trained Vent De Force (Hurricane Run) made all the running under Richard Hughes to win the Group Three Cantor Fitzgerald Investment Trusts Henry II Stakes at Sandown on Thursday, seeing off Chester Cup winner Trip To Paris by a length and three-quarters.

She is the first runner out of the winning Thunder Gulch mare Toirneach, a €110,000 Keeneland yearling purchase and a half sister to winners out of a winning half sister to US Listed winner Drina, the dam of dual Grade One winner Spain and two more graded stakes winners.

Pleascach is one of two stakes winners from Teofilo's fourth crop, which was covered at a career low fee of €15,000 (up to €50,000 in 2015), and her win comes a day after his juvenile son Round Two won the Listed Marble Hill Stakes is style. The Darley resident

He is a full brother to German Listed winner Beiramar out of the winning Be My Guest mare Be My Lady, a half sister to Group Three winner Banyumanik and Listed winners Bella Amica and Banyu Dewi, the latter the dam of Group Two winner Brigantin.

A stakes double for Monsun, whose three year old colt Sarrasin won the earlier Listed Prix de l'Avre.

This is the first Group One win since his return to training for Al Kazeem, who won this in his annus mirabilis of 2013, when he won the Tattersalls Gold Cup, Prince of Wales's Stakes and Eclipse in a six week period. He is a half brother to two winners out of an unplaced Darshaan mare, herself a daughter of Group Three winner and Group One placegetter Kanz. She in turn is a half sister to Grade Three winner Diomedia, stakes winner Gold Treasure, the granddam of Group One winner Zanzibar, and the winner Crown Treasure, later the dam of multiple Group One winners Glint Of Gold and Diamond Shoal.

Al Kazeem is a member of Dubawi's second crop that has produced 18 stakes winners at a remarkable 19% strike rate and which has a crop AEI of 3.0. That crop was sired at a fee of €35,750, which was to reduce further to £15,000 in 2009, before three-year-old success for the likes of Makfi, Monterosso, Worthadd and Poets Voice in 2010 saw his fee start its climb towards the £125,000 the Darley sire commands today.

This is the fifth stakes winner of the season for Teofilo, and Round Two is the only runner so far from his 2013 crop, his fifth, which was covered at a fee of €25,000.
