She descends from a line of mares nurtured by the Balding family stretching back another four generations to Anippe, purchased from an owner by Ian Balding in the early 1960's.
Elm Park was the first Group winner, and becomes the first Group One winner, for his sire Phoenix Reach, who covered just nine mares this year.
