Homebred by Kingsclere Stud, the progressive Elm Park has now won four of his five starts, having made all for an impressive victory in the Listed Stonehenge Stakes before winning the Group Two Royal Lodge Stakes last time. He is the second foal out of the Dashing Blade mare Lady Brora, a Great Leighs maiden winner. She descends from a line of mares nurtured by the Balding family stretching back another four generations to Anippe, purchased from an owner by Ian Balding in the early 1960's.
Elm Park was the first Group winner, and becomes the first Group One winner, for his sire Phoenix Reach, who covered just nine mares this year.

A step forward for Jolly Good Kitten, who won a maiden over course and distance 12 days ago. A Ramsey family homebred out of the Saint Bellado mare Ballade's Girl, he becomes the fifth European stakes winner for Kitten's Joy.

Jim Bolger's homebred filly Steip Amach registered her first career win here when seeing off Ballydoye's Royal Navy Ship by three quarters of a length. She is a half sister to the Listed-placed Ceisteach, out of the placed Noverre mare Ceist Eile, herself a €160,000 yearling and a half sister to two winners out of a half sister to Germand Group Two winner Giant Sandman and the dam of Group One Prix de l'Opera winner Shalanaya and Group Two Prix Chaudenay winner Shankardeh. The next dam, Group Three winner Sharamana, is a half sister to Shergar.

This is the third career win, and first at stakes level, for the James Given-trained Russian Punch, the first winner out of the winning Beat Hollow mare Punch Drunk, herself a half sister to three winners.
This is the third stakes winner for Archipenko, and the first from his second crop. The Lanwades resident had a notable first last weekend, with Madame Chiang becoming his maiden Group One winner.

He is a half brother to the Listed-placed End Of Line - on offer at Tattersalls next week - out of a placed Montjeu half sister to Group Three winner Airmail Special. The second dam is a half sister to the dam of French Guineas winner Torrestrella.

Sky Hunter won the first three starts of his career before lining up in the Prix du Jockey Club, where he ran a fine third behind Fabre stablemate Intello ahead of a Vichy Listed win. Transferred to Saeed bin Surroor this year, he won the Listed Doonside Cup at Ayr last time before this first Group win. A Darley homebred, he is a half brother to Group Two Lennox Stakes winner Nayyir, Dubai Group Three winner and Coronation Cup second Highest and Goodwood Listed winner Shamaiel, out of Ribblesdale third Pearl Kite. The second dam is a half sister to multiple Grade One winner Make Change, later the granddam of Travers winner Stay Thirsty.
Motivator has six stakes winners this term - headed by dual Arc winner Treve - and five of the six are now Group winners.

This is the third career win for the Richard Hannon-trained Smaih, who was Listed-placed at Haydock last time. A €190,000 Goffs Orby yearling, he is the first foal out of a winning half sister to German champion Silvano and three time Group One winner Sabiango, out of a winning sister to Grade Three winner Pig Pal. The third dam is a half sister to Grade One winner Beautiful Melody.
This is the second stakes winner for Paco Boy - the other being Group Two winner Beacon - who has 22 winners and moves to sixth on the first crop sires table.

This is the third Group One win for Frankel's full brother Noble Mission, who has had a fine season as a five-year-old, winning the Group Three Gordon Richards and Huxley Stakes before winning his first Group One win in the Tattersalls Gold Cup in May. Since them he has won the Group One Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud on the disqualification of Spiritjim and second in the Bayerisches Zuchtrennen. As well as Frankel, he is a three parts brother to Lingfield Derby Trial winner Bullet Train and half brother to Listed winner Joyeuse, out of dual Listed sprint winner Kind, a half sister to Grade One Arlington Million and Group One Tattersalls Gold Cup winner Powerscourt, themselves out of Group Three Lancashire Oaks winner Rainbow Lake.
Noble Mission is one of seven European Group One winners this season for Galileo, who has 34 stakes winners in all, an astonishing 13% of his runners.

The winner of the Group Three Prix Djebel in April, Charm Spirit has been unbeaten in four starts since finishing fifth in the 2000 Guineas, winning the Group Three Prix Paul de Moussac, Group One Prix Jean Prat and the Group One Prix du Moulin last time. A €140,000 Arqana October yearling purchase, he is the first winner out of the winning Montjeu mare L'Enjoleuse, herself a half sister to a Group-placed winner. The next dam is a half sister to Group Two Temple Stakes winner Snaadee, Group Two Mill Reef winner Russian Bond, Group Three winner Cristofori, as well as the dam of German Group One winner Ransom O'War.
Charm Spirit, along with Kingman, is one of two Group One winning milers this season for Invincible Spirit, who extends his advantage over Shamardal at the head of the table of leading sires of milers.

Madame Chiang had just one run as a juvenile, winning a Yarmouth maiden, before winning the Group Three Musidora Stakes at York in May. She has run just twice since then, when unplaced in the Oaks and Prix Vermeille, but relished the testing ground here to win in style. Homebred by Kirsten Rausing, she is a half sister to two winners out of the winning Robellino mare Robe Chinoise. She in turn is a half sister to Listed winner Kiswahili (the dam of Listed winner Kinetica) out of Group Three Oaks Trial winner Kiliniski. The fourth dam is Special, the granddam of Sadler's Wells.
Madame Chiang becomes the first Group One winner for second crop sire Archipenko. The Lanwades resident has two stakes winners (the other, Lady Penko, was Group One-placed in the Prix Saint-Alary). and moves into sixth place on the second crop sires table.

Tom Hogan's Gordon Lord Byron showed remarkable improvement after stepping into stakes company as a four-year-old in 2012, winning the Listed City of York Stakes and finishing second in the Sprint Cup before landing the Group One Prix de la Foret. He was placed three times in Group company last term, most notably when third behind Moonlight Cloud in the Prix Maurice de Gheest, before landing the Desmond Stakes and Sprint Cup. International travels followed, with a further Group One coming in the George Ryder Stakes at Rosehill in April. A €2,000 Goffs foal purchase, he is the first foal out of the unraced Intikhab mare Boa Estrela, a half sister to dual Group Three winner Cheyenne Star, out of Listed winner Charita.
