A €260,000 Goffs yearling, Beethoven is the first foal out of Listed Garnet Stakes winner Queen Titi, a half sister to Group Three winner Psalm and the stakes-placed winner The Editor. The second dam is a black-type-placed sister to Listed winner Or Vision, later the dam of Irish 2000 Guineas winner Saffron Walden, and a half sister to two more Listed winners and to Brigid, the dam of Group One Moyglare winner Sequoyah, herself the dam of dual Guineas winner Henrythenavigator.
