A €36,000 Goffs Sportman's Sale yearling, Kingsfort is a half brother to Grade One Prince Arch out of a winning half sister to Group Three May Hill Stakes winner Intimate Guest and the dam of Grade One winner Luas Line, out of the Group-placed dual Listed winner As You Desire Me. The third dam Royal Saint won the Fred Darling and the Strensall Stakes.

This is the second European stakes win of the season for Kentucky sire War Chant. The son of Danzig has 12 winners from 29 European runners, headed to now by Lincoln winner Expresso Star. This is his first Group/Grade One winner.
