The dam, Fragrant Hill, is the winner of the Listed Lupe Stakes and is out of Group Two Prince of Wales's Stakes winner English Spring.

This is a first Group One win of the season (and first since Cherry Mix won the Premio Roma in 2006) for Linamix, who has five stakes winners and 34 winners from 93 runners in Europe so far. He moves to third in our list of leading sires in France this year; his son Slickly is in seventh spot behind.
