King's Apostle is the first foal out of an unraced half sister to three winners, out of Embassy, the champion juvenile filly in 1997 and winner of the Group One Cheveley Park Stakes and Group Three Princess Margaret Stakes. The third dam Pass The Peace was herself champion juvenile filly in Ireland and also won the Cheveley Park Stakes.

King's Apostle becomes the fourth Group One winner for his sire King's Best, alongside Proclamation, Creachadoir and Dubai Surprise. The Darley sire has four European stakes winners and 52 individual winners this year, and is the leading sire of Kingmambo at stud in Europe.
