An unraced daughter of ALFLORA topped a selective day's trading on the first day of the DBS December Sales when selling to Louise Kemble for £20,000. The four year old is out MISS ORCHESTRA, winner of the Grade Three Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter and is a half brother to BATTLECRY, who was sold at the DBS NH Breeze-Up Sales before winning the Grade Two River Don Novice Hurdle and being placed in the Grade One Royal & SunAlliance Chase at the Cheltenham Festival this year. There was plenty of interest for the long term breeding prospect, but it was Nick Sarson who made the final bid for the filly, who was consigned by Shamrock Bloodstock and has been bought by the TBA Chief Executive for her Elms Stud.
