Again progresses to Group One winFiled on 31 Aug 2008 @ 16:12
Danehill Dancer filly takes Moyglare Stud StakesJuvenile filly Again (Danehill Dancer - Cumbres, by Kahyasi) showed she was a progressive type with an impressive win in the Group two Debutante Stakes at Leopardstown last time and she took a further step forward at the Curragh on Sunday, winning the Group One Moyglare Stud Stakes. David Wachman's filly raced strongly in midfield under Seamus Heffernan before challenging the leaders in the final two furlongs. She went clear but had to see off the challenge of Listed winner Shimah, which she did well with half a length in hand at the line. A stewards' inquiry was called regarding possible interference between the first two home, but the placings remained unaltered. Wachman said: "She's a nice filly and Seamie gave her a great ride. I was very concerned this run may have come a bit too quickly for her, but she did it really nicely. She's really a horse for next year because she's still big and weak - she's going to make an exciting three-year-old." Filed on 31 Aug 2008 @ 16:12
