Trainer Peter Moody has mapped out his preferred campaign for star mare Black Caviar this coming season, which is likely to culminate in a trip to Royal Ascot to run in the Group One King's Stand over five furlongs or the Golden Jubilee over six furlongs.

Moody told the Herald-Sun: "I had a meeting with the owners after Brisbane and they placed Royal Ascot next June at the top of their wish list."

Moody said Black Caviar would begin her spring campaign with runs in the Group Two Schillaci Stakes over 1000m at Caulfield on October 8 and the Schweppes Stakes over 1200m on October 22.

The Group One Patinack Farm Classic on November 5 will be Black Caviar's main spring target, with a trip to Perth for the Winterbottom Stakes more likely than a tilt a the Hong Kong Sprint in December.

"Everything I'm planning for her in the spring is with the goal of having her right for the Orr and the Futurity Stakes next year when I'm excited about getting her out to 1400m,” Moody added.

"At the moment, Perth is ahead of Hong Kong. There are no quarantine issues and she would get some flying experience but be home a day or so after the race.”
