The Group Three Prix Jonchere over a mile at Chantilly on Sunday was won by Pascal Bary's smart three-year-old Arcadia's Angle (Aldebaran - Diane's Birthday, by With Approval), who registered a first Pattern win after sluicing up in a Listed event at Maisons-Laffitte last time.

The Aldebaran colt made all the running for Christophe Lemaire, setting a steady early pace before gradually accelerating in the straight to gain a clear advantage at the line. Senlis was beaten half a length into second and Yorktown was a nose down in third.

Pascal Bary indicated after the race that Arcadia's Angle will next contest the Group One Prix Jean Prat on 13 July.
