The Francesco de Santis-trained Mibar (Refuse To Bend — BowRiver Gold, by Rainbow Quest) stepped up on his victory over 1200m in Rome in November to land the Listed Premio Criterium Mediterraneo at Siracusa on Monday, 8 December by an impressive four and a half lengths.

The Italian-bred colt by Refuse To Bend is out of the Rainbow Quest mare Bow River Gold and was bred by Grapestock LLC. He has now run five times for two wins and two places.
