Mia's Boy (Pivotal - Bint Zamayem, by Rainbow Quest) came with a late run to win the Listed Hambleton Stakes over a mile at York on Thursday. The odds-on favourite Lang Shining had hot the front with a strong run in the final quarter mile and looked like giving Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore a treble for the day, but idled in front, allowing Mia's Boy to sweep by to register a three-quarter length success.

A five-time winner over 7 and 8 furlongs, Mia's Boy, a four-year-old Pivotal colt, was having his first start in Listed company.
