Kheleyf juvenile lowers track record

The Paul Cole-trained Percolator (Kheleyf - Coffee Cream, by Common Grounds) gave her first season sire Kheleyf a first Group win when landing the Group Three Prix du Bois at Maisons-Laffitte on Sunday.

The two-year-old made all under Christophe Soumillon, finding plenty in the final furlong to pull three lengths clear of Caparroso. Kenz was a four lengths adrift in third.

Percolator lowerd the track record to 56.3 seconds for the 1000m. The Nunthorpe is a possible summer target.

This was Percolator's fourth straight win. The filly had taken the Listed Prix La Fleche on her last start.
