Cheltenham countdown - news digest The Listener became the first British-trained winner of the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup since Jodami in 1995 at Leopardstown on Sunday, leading all the way to win impressively for trainer Robert Alner, who is still in hospital following a serious car accident last year.
