We reported on Saturday that the 2000 Guineas first and second could reoppose in the Irish 2000 Guineas, but whilst New Approach is likely to contest the Irish Classic it has emerged that Henrythenavigator could instead run in the Derby at Epsom.

Trainer Aidan O'Brien told The Times that the Derby would be debated as an option at Ballydoyle, saying: “It means so much to John Magnier that it is almost the be-all and end-all, so we will sit down and talk about it.”
