A lightly raced mare by Royal Academy topped the fourth session of the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast on Thursday.

Value hunting buyers were out in numbers looking to buy bargain mares after the recently completed record breaking select component to the National Broodmare Sale.
