40-1 winner for Britain in Champion Bumper

The Irish have farmed the Weatherbys Champion Bumper over the years, and that looked set to continue at Cheltenham on Wednesday as Edward O’Grady’s Shoot From The Hip was backed down to 3-1 favouritism. It was a British runner in the form of the Colin Tizzard-trained Cue Card (King’s Theatre) that landed the spoils though, sprinting up the hill to win by eight lengths at odds of 40-1.
