We collect information from Your use of the Services, information you provide us directly and publicly available information within our statistics database.

Publicly available information within our statistics database

Our statistics database includes personal information such as vendors and purchasers of horses at public thoroughbred auctions and trainer names in race results. This information is publicly available. We process such information in a minimal way by publishing names within results of races and sales and in the context of reports on an individual horse. Such processing is undertaken under the legitimate commercial interest of Harbury Media in providing as complete information as possible to users of its database, and in the belief that individuals affected would reasonably expect their personal information to be processed in such a manner, and such processing is neither intrusive nor likely to cause harm.

Third party technologies

We also receive information through third-party technologies. A cookie is a small piece of data that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. We use a third-party, industry-accepted Payment Gateway to securely process credit card transactions and a third party supplier to calculate VAT liability on any transaction in order that we may comply with rules on payment of VAT on digital downloads.

Because personal information—for example, your email address—is required to use the Services, we retain personal information as long as your account is active. You will have the opportunity to correct, update, modify or delete this information updating your information in the Services.
